i. GENERAL POLICY

 

It is our policy to provide equal employment opportunity to all qualified individuals without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age or disability in all personnel actions including recruitment, evaluation, selection, promotion, compensation, training and termination.

 

It is also our policy to promote the realization of equal employment opportunity through a positive, continuing program of specific practices designed to ensure the full realization of equal employment opportunity without regard to race, color, religion, national origin or sex.

 

KOZE AM-FM is dedicated to providing broad outreach regarding job vacancies, and we seek the help of local organizations in referring qualified applicants. II. RESPONSIBILITY FOR IMPLEMENTATION

 

Mike Ripley, President / General Manager will be responsible for the administration and implementation of our Equal Employment Opportunity Program. It will also be the responsibility of all persons making employment decisions with respect to recruitment, evaluation, selection, promotion, compensation, training and termination of employees to ensure that our policy and program is adhered to and that no person is discriminated against in employment because of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age or disability.

 

 

III. INTERNAL RECORD KEEPING Ð POSITIONS FILLED

 

Since there have been no personnel changes at KOZE-AM/FM during the reporting period of March 10, 2003 and June 1, 2003, there have been no referrals during this time.

 

IV. SUPPLEMENTAL RECRUITMENT MEASURES

 

KOZE Radio will continue to strive to update, refine, and expand its recruitment sources through further efforts in the months and years ahead and intends to use the improved lists for virtually all job openings.

 

V. LONG TERM RECRUITMENT INITIATIVES

 

In addition to the Supplemental Recruitment obligations listed above, KOZE Radio is committed to performing at least two of the long-term EEO recruitments set forth in the FCCÕs EEO rules within a two-year period. From March 10, 2003 through June 1, 2003, KOZE Radio engaged in the following long-term recruitment initiative:

 

  1. Participation in Scholarship Program Ð Michael R. Ripley, President and General Manager participated in the selection process for the Idaho State Broadcasters Association Educational Scholarship. Two recipients were granted a scholarship to help further their training in the media.
